I'm still here!

I know that I haven't blogged in a long time...I'm apologizing and determined to catch up. Just to fill you in with what has been going on in our lives, here is a quick synopsis. In April Shawn started working for Microsoft. The first week of May, I was called as Primary president. Funny story, I had commented to Shawn that Ethan had slept through the night for 3 days in a row...a first for him, and that I didn't know what I was going to do with myself being so rested. The next day I was extended this call and Ethan didn't sleep through the night for the next couple months. The moral of the story, never say out loud that you actually have time to do something more :> The kids have kept us pretty busy and I'll start filling in what they've been up to with the pictures in my next posts, but for now, it's good to be back!

Jada's graduation

Jada is officially ready for Kindergarten! Since she went to a Lutheran preschool she had a spiritual recognition ceremony in the chapel which was very sweetAnd then we had the graduation party at the park on a gorgeous day!

Happy 33rd Birthday to my hunky husband! This is his favorite cake and he'd eat the whole thing if he could!He gave in and let the kids get a small slice!

So, I have a riddle for you...
What do these two companies have in common?

• both have had recent government intervention
• both are compound words
• both have blue lettering

Well, there are several answers but the most important is that they both no longer exist! This means that Shawn has moved on once again! He has taken yet another direction in his career, this time he's accepted a position at Microsoft.

And his only request is that you no longer use Google or Yahoo as your search engine...bing.com is where it's at! This is because he is working with the bing.com group, trying to increase advertising revenue. Thanks to everybody who kept us in their thoughts and prayers while we were trying to find employment!

Mother's Day

I had several Mother's Day celebrations this year. Both Brayden and Jada's preschools had Mother's Day teas

And then on Mother's Day, we went to the temple and had a picnic, it was a fabulous day!

Kailey's coach rotated her around the field and Kailey did well in all the positions.Kailey has a lot of fun playing softball and in one game she had three outs in a row and she turned around and gave me one of these...But she's never too serious about the game!
