Family Christmas tradition #1.
Us girls got all dressed up and headed to the Nutcracker. We had a special time because my Grandma Lil came in from Raymond, Canada to be with us this Christmas! Why is it that the boys seem uncomfortable going to the Nutcracker? ;>

Indoor soccer

Oh, what do you do when the fall season of soccer is over? Indoor, of course!

I get to wear lipstick?

Jada had a December ballet performance of, "Gallop of the Children"
She absolutely loves to dance and dress up, so she is hooked!

And you always receive a rose after you perform!

Oh Christmas Tree

How lovely are thy branches?

Well, in order to find out, we bundled up, headed out to Enchanted Winds in Issaquah Then we had to find the perfect oneSome weren't looking very hard becuase they were buying their pre-cut tree at Costco, for a cheaper price (ours lasted longer :>)Then everyone got a chance to saw it downAnd we carried it back to the truck

where we enjoyed hot apple cider and white fudge oreo cookies, a tradition that Shawn started and refuses to abandon! I wish I had a picture of the finished tree this year, but it was lovely!

I'm a whole hand!

When Brayden turned 3 we took him bowling for his birthday, only the bowling alley that we took him to wouldn't allow him to bowl because he was too young...he was a sad boy! Kailey's choir concert

Kailey had a 3rd grade choir concert this year and she performed two songs, "Man in the Mirror" by Michael Jackson and "Edelweiss" from the Sound of Music. The combination seemed interesting to me, but she loved singing them both!Savannah Jones (soccer teammate) & Kailey
