TMI

It's funny, I was tagged by two people with the same tag, so here you go Kath and Jenn... 1. I am facinated by people of different nationalities/races. Consequently, I only dated one white guy, the rest were from all over the world.

2. Which leads me to number two, I love to travel. Well that is not true. The actual traveling part I'm not good at, but once I'm there, I love it. I love seeing new sights, hearing new language and seeing how different people adapt to their specific circumstances.

3. I only hate three foods (there are some that I don't like but I'll tolerate) but I hate asparugus, brussell spouts and perogies. The asparugus and brussell sprouts I've hated since I was young but the perogies were added when I was pregnant with Kailey.

4. I have a strong desire to help people. I graduated in Psychology with a desire to help people emotionally, through counseling. Then I became an EMT with the desire to help people who were in trouble physically. However, right now, I'm in the phase of helping my kids emotionally and physically...and even though it can be exhausting, I'm so grateful that I have the chance to totally screw them up before I'm unleashed on the public sector;>

5. I love thunderstorms. I think they are so electrifying (for lack of a better word). I miss the Michigan thunderstorms!

6. I'm a serious procrastinator. Though having 4 kids has made me improve quite a bit, but why do it today when it can be done tomorrow?

7. I love to vacuum. I find it very relaxing and it drones out the children's noise, when (lets face it) it gets a little annoying.

It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown!

Jada's preschool went to a local farm for the annual pumpkin patch event. It happened to fall on Columbus Day (a banking holiday), so Shawn was able to accompany us! The kids were so excited! We learned about composting and dug around in it for worms (only in Seattle), met a horse, goat and chicken, and scared away the crows!!!!

Ethan's Blessing

We decided to bless Ethan on General Conference weekend, after the Sunday morning session. It was a wonderful, intimate gathering at my parents house with our family surrounding this sweet baby. I'm so grateful that Ethan has joined our family and that my husband has the priesthood and was able to bless him.

Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairies

Jada has been taking dance lessons from Miss Amy and absolutely loves it. She does a great job learning the steps and following directions, but I think that she really just likes the outfits! I'm not complaining though, because she is actually dancing! When we were doing dance in Michigan, she would just stand frozen in the middle of the room while all the other girls would dance around her. For 8 weeks, she didn't budge! It takes will power to be that stubborn;>
I would know, I was that stubborn as well!
(don't pay too much attention to the wall, I know it's gross)

I didn't know that they put braces on 7 year olds, but I guess they do! Kailey chose orange and black bands for Halloween and has been really good about taking care of them. Hopefully they aren't going to be on for too long, we'll see!

Free!

I've always been a fan of a good deal and I have no problem with turning another person's trash into my treasure. So when I saw that someone was getting rid of this,

(the excersaucer, not the baby) I was all over it! He loves it and I love the fact that I didn't have to buy one! It really comes in handy when I have to get something done!

6 Months

Ethan prefers to eat his hand rather than any type of food. All he does is spit it all over the place, much to the delight of his brother and sisters!
He has been able to sit up for a while, but he never stays there very long...
He would rather do something like this!
He is such a sweet baby! If only he would eat something and sleep through the night!
